Fueling My Future: The Why Behind My Work
My journey has been fueled by a passion for cultural identity and a commitment to breaking barriers for future generations. With a strong foundation in education and educational leadership, I am dedicated to contributing innovative research and perspectives that reflect my heritage and experiences.
Balancing the challenges of navigating academia as a trailblazer in my family, I strive to be a role model and advocate for other aspiring scholars from underrepresented backgrounds. My work is driven by the belief that diversity enriches academic discourse and leads to more holistic and impactful solutions.
Beyond my academic pursuits, I am currently the CEO & Founder of SCIPS, LLC (Supporting Cultural Identity Program), where I work to promote cultural identity education, inclusivity and support for fellow students of color. My journey is a testament to resilience, dedication, and the transformative power of education.
